Aiming at strengthening and promoting correct and up-to-date scientific, intellectual and ideological foundations and sources; and also, using Qur'anic endowments in optimal efficiency; University of Qur’anic Sciences and Studies was stablished in 1982, in Tehran, by the Endowment and Charity Organization. From 1994, after a period of activity and passing required procedures, by official endorsement of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology
1- Training committed, faithful and vigorous force in the field of Qur’anic studies and sciences for teaching, researching and preaching
2-Providing scientific-cultural services to cultural and religious institutions and organization inside and outside the country in the field of Qur’anic sciences and teachings
3-Promoting public culture and knowledge in the field of Qur’anic sciences and teachings by preparing an appropriate ground for people's activity in this field
4-Exchange of Qur'anic strategic research with world scientific and research centers
