University introduction

Aiming at strengthening and promoting correct and up-to-date scientific, intellectual and ideological foundations and sources; and also, using Qur'anic endowments in optimal efficiency; University of Qur’anic Sciences and Studies was stablished in 1982, in Tehran, by the Endowment and Charity Organization. From 1994, after a period of activity and passing required procedures, by official endorsement of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, other campuses of the university were opened in 18 cities: Amol, Esfahan, Bojnord, Bandar Abbas, Tehran, Khomein, Khoy, Zabol, Zahedan, Sabzevar, Shahrod, Shiraz, Qom, Kermanshah, Maraghe, Mashhad, Malayer and Meibod.

Capacity

    Currently more than 7000 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students are studying in day-time or evening-time programs of the university. Read more.
